Why isn't Come Now Sleep getting more promotion? The record comes out on August 14th and I'm surprised that I'm hearing so little about it.

solid state records wont spend their time and money on a band that they dont believe will sell 500,000 plus records
yea, im pumped for this but it seems like they just kind of threw it out there. like some casual thing like a new tshirt design or something.
this is their sophomore effort, shouldn't they be advertising like crazy? i know tj is gone, but seriously.
even with tj gone its gonna be sweet.
it is unfortunate that neither the band nor the label seem to be doing anything as far as promotion goes.

There is this thing called "Myspace" on the internets, and you go there and create a profile and you can "friend" the band and watch yourself get spammed with bulletins on pre-order offers.

ACB is no longer a Solid State band, they got moved to T&N.
And saying they won't put any money into a band they don't believe will see 500,000+ records is ridiculous; only one record in the history of Solid State has ever surpassed that, that being Define The Great Line.
T&N/Solid State is still very much an independent label, given their distribution range HAS increased significantly, but don't need every one of their bands to go Gold to break even on a record.
The only huge push they've given this year so far was Anberlin, so it's not like their the only band that isn't getting a huge push from the label. Still, I think the record is still gonna do just fine.
