It's almost certainly the point.
When I was in virginia I went to go see xDeathStarx and some crappy local grindcore band came out and half way through their set the frontman took his shirt off.
I feel bad for making fun of him, he's probably "special".

when i saw chasing victory at ichthus one of the guitarists had a shirt that he painted "deez nutz" on and he ripped it toward the end. it was hilarious
It's very hard to take anything from the band that brought us the lyrics "She's a WOLF!" and "I've been jumping over alligators with a pocket full of detonators!" seriously.
That being said, Chasing Victory is an awesome band, and I can't wait to see them live eventually.
Underoath is ok too, I guess.
