Copeland is homeless... maybe?

We're not gonna make a big deal or poke to much fun at this - but Copeland has left Columbia records. A textbook example of what happens when indies go major 95% of the time.

More like 96%.

Copeland, go back to TMG.

Please? They miss you!

Columbia only used you for your body.

one word:
the nail.

Mmm...they did just lose Anberlin, and Emery is slowly going the way of the buffalo, so they do need a new way to attract the hipsters.

Yeah I could totally see The Nail jumping all over this one. The sad thing is, in two years we're probably going to seeing the same thing happen to Anberlin. I really hope I'm wrong, but lets be real here.

This is gonna sound mean, and totally opposite of what are fanbase supports, but I think Anberlin needs to break up.

Seriously, if you know anything about good music, you know the three-albums-and-out rule.

Any good (non-hardcore) band usually has about three good albums in them. Anything after that will be just repetitive and garbage.

So by the third album that band should stop recording and let someone new take the head of the scene.

this is not to bash anberlin, but i completely agree with dan as far as anberlin needing to give it up.

i love anberin. i hope for the best with them being on a major and writing for a fourth cd, but its highly unlikely ill ever play the fourth full length and major label debut as much as BFTBM of NTFP.

i cant see how it can be anything but downhill from here. unless they're the first band in history to match explosive success in a dying industry with one of the highest QUALITY cds ever. yes, ever.
