Showbread double disc hype

I have high expectations from Showbread for their next release, a double disc set called "Anorexia Nervosa". They exploded with "No Sir..." but have been quietly touring and defending themselves after "Age of Reptiles". This is a release that cuold put them back on top. They're smart, they're creative, and I see no reason why they can't blow people away.

It has little to do with the amount of screaming, so before you start telling me I'm too scene for AOR, don't. Look at the personality, the wild glam attitude of No Sir, then look at the streamlined AOR.

I dont know maybe Im just a hater.

I personally like "Age of Reptiles". I can't wait for the new dual disc to come out. It sounds like it could be pretty epic.

I'm an avid showbread fan, and I rarely pull out my AOR cd. I'm not sure if you've read a more recent blog of theirs [studio journal 2 10/7/07] , where Josh started talking about AOR. It seems like they wrote it a point where there was a lot going on with the band, sort of a conflicting time. And I feel as though that reflected onto the cd a little bit, maybe that's just me. I felt like it lacked the passion No Sir had..any time I saw them play shows during the AOR hub bub, it just wasn't the same, their stage presence had altered. And Josh even seems to address that a little in the blog I'm talking about, if I remember right.

But this upcoming double disc/story book should be AMAZING. My expectations are set beyond high.

And I can personally say that anyone who has been participating in this

has their expectations even higher.

I really have no doubt that it's going to RULE.
NOT TO MENTION, I'm pumped for Josh's solo record.

my expectations or non-existant. i already know its going to be great.

im not going to be that guy, the fan that doesnt think anything can be bad, but personally, i liked aor. and i respect their decision to not stick to a single type of music. i dont listen to a band because they scream or because they sing, i listen for the music and the message.

showbread is comprised of excellent musicians, as well as an excellent lyricist. theyre music has always been legendary, and joshs writing compliments it like no other.

this is why i have no doubt that it will be amazing.

Josh's solo project sounds brilliant, and uh, it sounds like what I would do if ever I had a solo project.

I like AOR, but I like No Sir a whole lot more.

But definitely excited for this.

I'm sorry, but if you think that AOR lacked "glam" you obviously haven't boogied your tail off to Oh Ehmetophobia.

Also, like half the tracks on that cd are about Josh's wife.
